Description

During level one of the course, you will learn some of the skills and techniques essential for students of Graphic Communication. You will use a wide range of media and materials, working with both traditional media and modern digital technology.

You will also begin to explore ways of responding to issues in visual communication. These include problem solving, creative thinking, ideas generation and the presentation of visual solutions to clients.

You will apply the skills and knowledge you gain across projects in both Graphic Design and Illustration.

Duration

Full time: 2 semester (32 weeks)
Part time: 4 semesters (64 weeks)

Entry Requirements

For UK students, normally three GCSE passes at grade C or above or equivalent, and at least one GCE A2 Level at grade E or above
However, we have a flexible admissions policy, and welcome applications from those without formal qualifications.
International students should normally have completed at least two years of basic higher education at a Higher Education Institute. For those whose first language is not English, IELTS 5.5 or equivalent is required.
