In June, we had the pleasure of hosting a series of meetings with Dr Jassbi and Dr Radfar, representatives of Iran’s Azad University.

Following an approach by Dr Farhang Adamiyat, Head of the International Affairs Commission for TEFSO; the Tehran Guild of Furniture Makers, Doctors Jassbi and Radfar came to the UK discuss how Azad University could work with IDI to provide an online degree programme for prospective members of this prestigious craftsman’s guild. The talks proved successful and we anticipate our first cohort of Iranian students in September 2009.
