Online Learning and the 'People's University'

The UK government is urging the university sector to adopt a more cost effective and flexible approach to course delivery to enable more students to participate in higher education. Distance Learning and online learning in particular are being considered as a viable alternative to traditional, face to face, attendance based delivery.
