Alan Tinsley - UK
Level 3 Diploma Foundation Studies Art and Design
Alan Tinsley is currently the MIS and Finance Officer for a Further Education College.
Alan has always had a keen interest in drawing but followed a more technical route, completing a BSC in Computer Science. However, he has maintained his interest in art and design by attending evening classes in painting and life drawing.
Alan has always intended to change career.
Alan was accepted on to a Foundation Diploma course at a local college but due to a change in circumstances found that full time education was not an option for him.
Fortunately, Alan found IDI and was able to discuss his aspirations and requirements with our admissions team.
They advised Alan that the Foundation Diploma is the ideal course for him as it provides in depth training in the traditional aspects of art and design. Alan hopes to develop these skills and specialise in Computer Generated Imagery.
Alan started the IDI online Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design programme in September 2009
